Where AI calling fits
A useful first scope is following up an enquiry about a known project. Give the system an approved source for location, available property types and the next step it can offer. It can ask about preferences, record a callback request or arrange a site-visit request when the relevant tools are enabled.
Keep current availability and prices tied to an authoritative source. A remembered brochure is not proof that a particular unit is still available. Test what happens when the source cannot be reached: the caller should hear that a person needs to confirm.
Where it needs a person
- Negotiation, special discounts, payment commitments and disputed promises.
- Questions about approvals, title, contracts or investment returns that need a qualified person or verified documentation.
- Conflicting preferences, complaints, repeated misunderstandings or a direct request to speak to staff.
- A booking or document request the enabled tools cannot complete.
Define a handoff owner and give them the conversation context, unresolved question and promised callback time. If live transfer is unavailable, describe it honestly as a callback. Do not leave the buyer repeating the same request to an automated loop.
Test Hindi and English with your own examples
Ask the buyer which language they prefer. Test Hindi, English and switching between them using the place names, project names and questions your team actually hears. Include interruptions, background noise, corrections and spoken budgets. A smooth scripted demo does not establish that these cases work.
Check whether names, amounts and visit times are captured correctly, whether the agent asks for clarification, and whether a person can take over without losing context. Record the mistakes; do not judge only how natural the voice sounds.
Questions to ask a vendor
- Can we test our own fictional enquiries rather than only your demonstration script?
- Which information sources and actions can we control, and what happens when a tool fails?
- How does a buyer interrupt, correct a detail, change language or ask for a human?
- Can we inspect the conversation record and see whether a promised action actually completed?
- Which actions require approval, and who can change the script or access conversations?
- What is included in billing, how are failed attempts handled, and how can we stop the service or export our records?
Start small and measure
Agree the eligible enquiries, staff availability and success criteria before starting. Record completed follow-ups, accurate information, confirmed next steps, complaints and handoff failures. Compare against your own existing process without promising a conversion or speed improvement.
Calling hours, consent, recording and outreach requirements depend on the jurisdiction. Confirm the rules and provider requirements that apply to your Indian operation before placing calls. Make the agent identity and the route to a person clear.
Using AceOS
AceOS answers calls and WhatsApp, uses enabled tools during the conversation and schedules follow-ups. Sensitive actions need human approval, and your team can take over; evaluate that workflow with your own Hindi and English examples.
